Cross Island Trading has become one of the leading importers of residential flooring in the United States. Since opening our Shanghai, China offices in early 2002, our staff there has assembled a network of quality residential flooring manufacturers producing both unfinished and pre-finished hardwood flooring, engineered flooring, as well as Bamboo Flooring. In addition, we have recently expanded our Residential Flooring supply base to other countries in South East Asia.
We supply wood flooring in several different species, namely American Red and White Oak, Chinese White Oak, Kempas, Kembang Semangkok (KSK/Tropical Oak), Sagawa, Kasai, Maple, Merbau, Red Birch/Chinese Cherry, Jatoba and other species.
For all of our pre-finished flooring, we use Treffert High
Performance Coating with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. We can match

With our staff in China, headed by President Ron O'Neil's son Dan, we
control the quality of every product we ship, from the
log selection, through sawing, kiln drying, machining, finishing, and final
packaging. With our ocean freight service contracts, we provide shipping
containers and space on vessels. Having been in the importing business for
over 30 years, and with Dan and his staff on-site for the past 10 years, our
attention to detail, relationships with our factories and shipping and
logistics associates, the services and quality we provide is unrivaled.
With increased physical inspections of shipments due to Homeland Security
requirements and Department of Agriculture regulations, importing is
becoming more complex. We pride ourselves at Cross Island for having the
extensive experience, thorough knowledge, and far-reaching abilities to cope
with the new, ever-changing international trade and importing
environment.
